skignz are delighted to announce that we have been revealed as 'Runner Up' in the latest The European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC) at a star studded event in Marseille, France. 

With over 1,000 entries, skignz was invited into the final 10 to present to the judging panel. skignz was then further shortlisted into the final 3 for the awards evening, coming 2nd on the night.

skignz comes 'Runner Up' in the Dynamite Awards 2018

With the Tech Industry booming in the North East England, what a great time to hold this year's prestigious Dynamite Awards.

skignz were delighted to be shortlisted for the coveted 'International Success Story 2018' we were certainly in good company.  

The evening was hosted by the flamboyant NE actor Daymon Britton who added a bit of theatre and comedy as he appeared on stage in his Speedos… yes, speedos.

Although we didn’t win, congratulations must go to all the winners in all the categories and a huge congratulations to Dynamo for holding such an amazing Awards evening and selecting an all-female panel….. girl power! 

Roll on next year and watch this space.Hopefully skignz will be victorious...

skignz is Runner Up in PD Ports, Export Awards

We are so excited and proud to have been shortlisted for the 'Most Entrepreneurial Exporter of the Year'.

On the 22nd February, we will be joining some other amazing companies, who have been nominated in one or more of the nine categories.The shortlist for the PD Ports Northern Powerhouse Export Awards 2018 in association with HSBC has officially been announced.​A range of companies from across the North of England have made the final shortlist for this year’s PD Ports Northern Powerhouse Export Awards, hosted and organised by BQ in association with HSBC.
Judges from PD Ports, BQ, Chamber International and the Institute of Export will meet towards the end of the month to decide the overall winners of each category and select the PD Ports Northern Powerhouse Exporter of the Year.

This year PD Ports, Northern Powerhouse Export Awards is in association with HSBC and this prestigious event will be taking place in the City of Leeds at their Beautiful Town Hall.  

This year is being lauded to be bigger and better than ever before and is a fantastic opportunity for us, we can't wait for the big evening.

Update:
Unfortunately skignz didn't win on this occasion, we consider being Runner-up as acknowledgement of how far we have come in the last 12-months with regards to our export activity, soemthing we will be continuing to many more countries throughout 2018.

The evening was well attended and great to be part of. Thank-you to PD Ports and all the other sponsors for making this happen, maybe skignz will have better luck next year?

skignz: Tees Valley BNBA 2016

skignz were runners up at the 2016 Tees Valley Best New Business Awards. 

Last year, skignz were winners in the Marketing category.  However, this year skignz came Runner up in the Creative & Digital Media category.  

Ithica Films, Winners on the night, took to Social Media to say that they thought skignz was ‘Awesome’. 

skignz would like to congratulate Ithica on their Award, and also thank TV BNBA for our nomination.  The night was held at the Riverside Stadium, home of MFC, and was a night enjoyed by all who attended.

KPMG Presents: The Best British Mobile Startup 2016

skignz came a worthy Runner-up in the KPMG - The Best British Mobile Startup Awards 2016, held in Manchester, UK

skignz along with the other shortlisted companies presented to an esteemed audience and judges at KPMG's Manchester office at St.Peter's Square on Wednesday 19th January 2016.

The deserved winner VST Enterprises has now been given the opportunity to present on stage at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain this February.

skignz enjoyed the experience especially as it allowed us to showcase our technology to a new audience of people, not only with the presentation but also the live demo provided for all in attendance.

TechCityInsider Awards & Launch of the 2015 Almanac

skignz were recently shortlisted as finalists in the UK's TechCityInsider Awards in the North East Category. The final were held at The Trampery in Shoreditch, London.  

A superbly organised event showcased all of the brilliant tech companies from up and down the country.

A great afternoon saw skignz narrowly miss out on collecting yet another award.  

However, the event was well put together, bustling with a host of companies that were eager to network.

The skignz team networked in search of like minded people to work in partnership with. One company who some the skignz team had met previously at the Pitch@Palace 3.0. were successful, which is great news

We just want to pass on our congratulations again to the awesome team over at PLOTBOXIO, these guys are helping Funeral Directors and Cemeteries, plan for the future, using digital technologies rather than age old methods currently being used, Well done guys and look forward to seeing you again soon.
